McClure Family Visit!

Aaron’s dear friend Sean and his family came for a visit. Sean was in the Navy with Aaron and is interviewing with Bonneville just like Aaron did last year. His wife Erin and beautiful son Ian were able to come along this trip! Ian is 8 months and a very HAPPY baby! We have enjoyed having them and will be sad to see them go. They like to hang out and eat good food just like we do! They will have to move from their home in Colorado when Sean starts his new job in June. One of the places they could move to is The Dallas. We took a long drive to look around at their possible new home. Along the way we made many stops. Once for lunch at the Full Sail Brewery and the others to take pictures. We went up Hwy I-84 and came back on the Washington side. A little longer drive but worth it. Cheers!

As most of you know I like to read People magazine and visit usmagazine.com. Therefore I am always full of useless knowledge about the celebrity world. With that being said usmagazine.com had a contest for the worst/best bridesmaids dress in honor of the movie 27 dresses. For fun I submitted a picture that Katie took at our wedding in Jamaica of Jen walking down the isle. I just got an email today and it WON! The picture is going to be on a featured slideshow on usmagazine.com. I am not sure when but I would think in the next week or so! Jen looked so beautiful and Katie is the best photographer I know so it was fun that the photo got picked! If you want to see more of Katie’s work, check out her website. www.katiejervis.com. She just updated all her wedding photos and some of our wedding photos are on it. I have stared working for Katie part time as her studio manager and was her second shooter for my first wedding two weeks ago. Katie is giving me such a wonderful opportunity to work for her studio; I just can’t thank her enough! Jen got a doggy! He is a HUGE and very sweet Great Dane. She brought Norman home on Friday, January 25th, from the humane society. I am so happy for her! Enjoy!

Our first Chrismas & one we wont forget!

Another holiday season has quickly come and gone! Sierra spent the holidays with her mom & family in Washington so we had her Christmas on the 21st. The kids decorated cookies and Sierra opened about a million gifts. She is very lucky to have such a large family that loves her so much. Christmas eve was at my parents for our traditional seafood dinner. My favorite meal of the entire year!! Christmas day was at our home and it snowed all morning! It didn't stick but was very pretty and rare for us Oregonians! Aaron cooked a prime rib for dinner that seriously was to die for! He slow cooked it on the Traeger BBQ day, It was his best ever! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays......on to 2008! I have a feeling this is another year of change for Aaron and our family. Looking forward to seeing where this year takes us!
