Who said it was ok to dress animals?

So I said I would NEVER be one of "those people". And then......I got a dog. I saw this coat and just had to buy it for Johnny, it just looked like him. Anyway we had a mini photo shoot today in his new coat. ha ha Anyway our family loves him and he is adjusting to him new home quite nicely! Many more photos to come I'm sure. :)

Weekend down south!

A couple weeks ago we got to go to Albany and spend time with the cousins! Jason & Kim took us to an OSU game in the RV, so fun! It was a beautiful sunny day in Corvallis. We had great seats and watched the Beavers walk all over Washington State. We also got to spend some time with my friends that I miss so much! On Sunday Brody and Jared played their football game. They are the Gold Cowboys. Jason, their dad, is the coach and the brothers get to play on the same team this year. They are so cute to watch! They really hit hard for only being 7-9 year olds! As always we had the best weekend!! On the way home from Albany we picked up Johnny, great weekend all around. Enjoy the pictures!

A new addition!

After months of thinking our family has decided to get a dog. I have been looking for a couple weeks on petfinder, craigs list and many other rescue sites. Not to mention weblinks constantlly from Niki and Jen! (They are both HUGE dog lovers and a great source of information!) A couple days ago Jen sent me a link to "Jordy". I sent in an application and when I got a phone call back he had already been adopted.....but he had a brother named Johnny! Sierra and I went to meet Johnny yesterday and fell in love! He is 16 weeks old and is 1/4 boarder collie, 1/4 greyhound and 1/2 yellow lab. He and his brother had a rough start, they were abandoned by their owner (with 4 other adult dogs) and were found a week later with no food or water. They were taken to the NW Animal Rescue Alliance in Salem to be helped and adopted. This last month Johnny has been with his wonderful foster mom Alicia. She has taken great care of him and he is now in perfect health and a very sweet dog. We are picking Johnny up this Sunday to bring him home! I can't wait for you to meet him!!! Any advise pass it my way. :)
