4 Adults,3 Children,1 Cabin with no power!

We just got back from a weekend at our Mt. Hood Cabin with the Wolfe family. Kristie #1, Dustin, Clara and Julia we so much fun to hang with. I took a ton of pictures, the three girls together were just too cute! Saturday afternoon we had a wind storm that took out the power about 2:30pm and didnt come back on for the rest of the weekend. Dinner was veggies, noodles and sauce that we cooked by putting pans on the wood stove that had been burning all day. It also didn't stop kristie and I from making some great coffee nudges! (My favorite.......perfect for a cold rainy day.) We had such a fun weekend and look forward to doing it again to take the girls skiing!!

Back to School!

I took a class this fall at PCC to learn the "basics" of photography. I know I have the passion yet I have no idea what "f-stop" means! It was a 6 week course and perfect to take in the Fall. The colors outside were beautiful! I learned so much from the teacher as well as other students and look forward to taking another class winter term. Aaron has been a great support while pursueing my dream, he even bought me a Canon 40D for my birthday! I posted some of my favorite pictures.

A new project.......start to finish!

Our whole family headed down to Albany, Oregon for a weekend of celebrations at Cousin Kim and Jasons house. It was Broday's 8th birthday and my parents 34th wedding anniversary! As an added bonus the Oregon State Beavers beat Washington and we all got to ride Kim's new horse Ginger. We had a great weekend with tons of photo opportunities! I took lots of pictures, edited and photoshoped them myself as well as made a slideshow and learned how to post them on my blog. Took some time but a great learning experince. Trying to learn the mac and all new programs...........comes with a huge learning curve. Onward and upward they say! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I love taking them.
