Thanksgiving 2010

Such a bad new mom...It was Evie's first Thanksgiving and I forgot my camera!!! These photos are unedited and taken by my family members but I still wanted to share. My favorite are all four cousins together as it was Sunday (my niece) and Evie's first Thanksgiving.

I must say we all had lots to be thankful for!

I love these sweet sister snuggle time photos. The one at the top will be blown up and framed in our living room, it's our favorite!!! Sierra is amazing with her and I feel so blessed to now have not just one but two daughters. I always wished I had a sister and I can't wait to watch these two grow up together and see the bond they form. Many more photos to come!

40 weeks 5 days

Tonight (at midnight) we check into the hospital. In the next day or two we will have our baby. So strange to be "planned" instead of going into labor naturally. I guess our little girl has her own agenda. We are happy to go with it to have our healthy little girl!

They will start the induction at 7am tomorrow, Tuesday November 16th! Today is my last day at home and pregnant. Again so strange after being pregnant for 9 months!! I have tried to just relax, clean, pack for the hospital and keep my emotions in check. I'm very nervous about the labor and delivery process but know that with Aaron's support we will make it thought it. Millions of women have done it before me, hell I have already been through it once!

I have been reading this pregnancy countdown book, I can't believe I went from day 280 all the way to 5 days past due. What an amazing year and an amazing process of a little one growing inside you! I can't believe that we will be walking out our door tonight pregnant and walking in a couple days later with a baby in our arms!

Thanks for all your prayers and support, we can't wait to show her off, uh I mean, for everyone to meet her in the next couple days!

The Final Countdown......

Well tomorrow is my official due date, 11.10.10, although there are no signs that she is ready to come anytime soon! Just hanging out ready when she is! I can't believe we made it this far and I thank god every day for our little blessing!

My Doctor, Aaron and I have all decided that the baby to go past 41 weeks for many reasons. Most important......they think she is already 8 plus lbs! If she does not come on her own (HOPEFULLY SHE DOES) before next Tuesday we will induce at 7am on November 16th. So nice to have the finish line in sight!

My Baby Shower

My amazing friends Jen & Tia hosted a beautiful baby shower at my parents house for us back in September! The food was delicious, the decorations were just my style and my friends made it the perfect celebration! Please enjoy the Slideshow!

Thanks to all the wonderful ladies who were able to make it and celebrate with me! I would not have made it these last 10 months without your love and support! I also thank you for all the special gifts, needless to say our little girl is already very spoiled!!
