Pete + Ashley

Last week Katie and I got to do a maternity session for my good friend Pete and Ashley. They are due any day now! They didn't find out if the baby is a boy or girl so it will be a really fun surprise.
After the little one is born we get to do another session! They were so sweet and fun to shoot. Ashley is beautiful and has just a perfect little "bump". I can't wait to meet the baby! Congratulations you guys!!! Click here to view their Slideshow

Aunt Debbie and Kristen's visit

This summer my Aunt and cousins daughter Kristen came to visit. I had not seen Kristen since she was 2! She is so grown up and sweet, I loved getting to know her better. They stayed in Portland for a week and then we went to my cousin Katie's wedding in Spokane for the weekend. We got to see all my wonderful family in Spokane. I love you Steffie!

Our new patio!

In the spring Aaron had a brilliant idea. He wanted to have a patio area that we used. Aaron tore up the lower deck and we had stamped concrete put in. Aaron saw the vision and it looks beautiful! I will have to put a final picture with our outdoor furniture that we used all summer!

My mom's favorite picture from the Spring Mini-Sessions

My mom loved this picture so much that she blew it up into a 20x30 canvas. Her two favorite grandchildren!

Fall Mini-Sessions

The spring was such a huge success that we decided to do Mini-Sessions for the Fall. If you would like more information please email me @ angietabz@hotmail.com. They are $75 for a 30min sitting and you get a free 8x10. The first session is September 16th at the PSU park blocks. The second session is October 1st at Laurelhurst.

Rest In Peace

My uncle Kenneth passed away a couple months ago very unexpectedly. This picture was taken two years ago at the Thanksgiving OSU game. Please pray for my family and that Kenneth is in a better place. To all my family in Texas.....peace be with you. You are in our thoughts daily!

Byron Chase Durkoop!

He's here, he's here! Today, June 24, around 1pm my dear friend Joy gave birth to a very healthy little boy! He is the sweetest little thing! I was going to do a birth story but the doctor would only allow one person in the operating room. Jeff just made the cut! Jen and I got to the hospital right after he was born so I was able to take pictures when Byron was only about an hour old! Joy is doing great but very tired. This baby is truly a miracle and the most beautiful baby I have ever seen! I am so happy Joy, Jeff and Bailey. Standby for a slideshow!!

Katie does it again!!

Katie and I did our first "mini-sessions" for Kate Kelly Photography! (Formally Katie Jervis Photography). They were 20 min. sessions for only $50 which included one free 5x7. My mom did a session with Leo and Sierra! Wait until you see some of the pictures...once again Katie did an amazing job! Once they are all done I will post more. These are the two pictures that I am giving Aaron for fathers day. One for home and one for the office!

There will be many more images and a slideshow, again I will post once it is all ready to go!

It's been one life changing year!

To celebrate our one year as a family we had a weekend of festivities! My parents took Sierra overnight so I got us a room at Hotel Monaco in downtown Portland. It was so modern and beautiful I just couldn't help but take pictures. After a few pictures I put it down for the evening, as Katie and Tony say, you can either document the event or be a part of the event. VERY hard to do both and I wanted us to have some quality time celebrating together! We went to Ringside and had the best steak dinner. We just hung out for hours and enjoyed each other! Wanted to get a famous Spanish coffee at Hubers (what we had the night Aaron proposed) but just couldn't hang after our huge dinner! I think I'm getting old!

The next day, our actual anniversary, we wanted to celebrate as a family. We took Sierra miniature golfing and had a blast. It turned out to be one of the few beautiful sunny days we had in May! Here is to another year of growing, learning and being together! I couldn't ask for a better husband and daughter! Love you always Aaron and Sierra.
