Merry Christmas!

I woke up early, about 5am, with Evelyn and rocked her by the Christmas tree. It gave me some quiet time with my baby girl to reflect on the past 12 months. I feel so blessed to have a beautiful healthy new daughter, a beautiful healthy ten year old daughter and an amazing, supportive (not to mention handsome) husband! Praise God!

One Month Old!

Time really does fly by! It's Christmas Eve today (where did 2010 go???) and our little girl is already over a month! She is growing and changing daily. She went to the Doctor last week and they weighed her in at 11 lbs 8 oz! She is a good eater and besides the cold that we ALL have she is very healthy! Praise God and Happy Holidays!

A Very Merry Green Christmas!

My sister in law is so thoughtful and talented.......This year she wrapped the girls gifts in fabric she had around her house. Not only a cute idea but very "green", I love it! I had to share because the fabric is beautiful and I love seeing Evelyn's name on things. We are so blessed to have her and can't wait to celebrate the holidays as a "complete" family!

We actually had two sessions with Katie...one when she was 18 days old (in between watching the civil war) and one when she was three weeks old. Some of these are priceless in my book!
