It's been one life changing year!
To celebrate our one year as a family we had a weekend of festivities! My parents took Sierra overnight so I got us a room at Hotel Monaco in downtown Portland. It was so modern and beautiful I just couldn't help but take pictures. After a few pictures I put it down for the evening, as Katie and Tony say, you can either document the event or be a part of the event. VERY hard to do both and I wanted us to have some quality time celebrating together! We went to Ringside and had the best steak dinner. We just hung out for hours and enjoyed each other! Wanted to get a famous Spanish coffee at Hubers (what we had the night Aaron proposed) but just couldn't hang after our huge dinner! I think I'm getting old!
The next day, our actual anniversary, we wanted to celebrate as a family. We took Sierra miniature golfing and had a blast. It turned out to be one of the few beautiful sunny days we had in May! Here is to another year of growing, learning and being together! I couldn't ask for a better husband and daughter! Love you always Aaron and Sierra.

Sierra gets an award!
Sierra attended Awana's all this year. It is a kids church group that met every Thursday night at Rolling Hills. She was in the sparks green group. (Thanks mom for taking her every week and being such a strong support!) Sierra learned so much and loved going. At the end of the year they had awards for all the kids! Aaron, Grandma Chris, Grandpa Wayne, cousin Leo and I all went and Sierra was so proud. All Leo could talk about was the cookies that he would get at the end. The whole ceremony I kept telling him they were still in the oven. We are such proud parents!

Joy's having a baby!
Ready for summer!
Sierra decided a couple days ago that she wanted to get her hair cut really short! She calls it a French cut. Not sure where she got that or maybe its just me out of the loop?! When the girl was done cutting Sierra hair was sad that it wasn't shorter. Just two weeks ago sierra was never going to cut it again, she wanted it really long. Kids! Well she looks adorable as always and this will help with swim team. She stared lessons in February and swim team in April. She is doing SO great and really learning how to swim!
