A Bridal Tea Party

My beautiful and life long family friend is getting married! Sarah's bridal tea shower was on March 16th, exactly one year from my bridal shower. Sierra, my mom and myself all attended. I told Karen that I would be honored to take some pictures! Sierra was such a young lady and my mom looked gorgeous as always! We had a great time and enjoyed being apart of it. I am looking forward to their wedding on April 19th!! Congratulations Sarah!!!

Spring is coming!

The weather in Portland has been so nice, spring is coming! The sun was going down the other night and the light was beautiful...I just had to take some pictures.

Destination Wedding

My friend, and roommate in college, is getting married! Sarah and Mike chose to get married at Beaches Resort and Spa in the south Caribbean. It is a small island southeast of Florida. Not only do Katie and I get to shoot their beautiful destination wedding but we get to spend 7 days relaxing in the sun! We will be there October 4-11. Their wedding is on Friday October 10th!! I am so excited for Sarah and Mike and truly look forward to being a part of this special time. My first destination wedding!!! P.S. Jen is going too!!!!

My Favorite Subject!

When I got home from work yesterday my wonderful husband and daughter surprised me with flowers and a spa gift certificate. Just to let me know how much they appreciate me. It made me smile! Not only were the flowers beautiful but they were my favorite kind and color! It was very thoughtful! I just love taking pictures of Sierra, she is my favorite “subject” to shoot and thought some pictures of her with the flowers would be precious!

Weekend Away in Bend

We just got back from a relaxing & fun party weekend in Bend! It was Darin and Alethas birthday so to celebrate we rented one of the cabins at McMenamins. We might have been slightly annoying since we called about 10 times to have the propane tank re-filled. I think if they heard "Hi this is the Nunnery" one more time.........

The weather was PERFECT. 55 and clear blue skies! I took picutres all the way there and all the way back. If I could have only had my camera on Saturday when we went skiing at Bachelor! The view from the summit was spectacular! I posted some of my favorite pictures!
